We are no longer accepting performance proposals for 2010 Summer Series events.  Thanks to all who have submitted and we will be announcing the final line-up soon!

Being selected to participate in Backyart’s 2010 “Summer Series” comes along with a series of small, but awesome perks:

  • A chance to receive a $100 “Stipend for Future Work” given out at the end of our season to one artist in each of the following categories: Literature, Film, Music, Theater/Performance, and Visual Art.
  • Free access to Backyart’s studio space to aid in the preparation of your selected piece.
  • Access to Materials for the Arts to get supplies needed for the purpose of your piece at Backyart.
  • Permanent links to your online networks on Backyart’s website.
  • Access to the Backyart Forum – an online resource for artists working in different mediums to communicate, collaborate and promote their projects outside of Backyart.
  • An all-access pass giving you free entrance to all of Backyart’s Summer Series events

    I would love to present some of my artwork, as well as present pieces of a musical that I’m Pitching.
